This Infection Prevents Arthritis (weird or what?)

We usually associate infection with something negative. Nobody wants to suffer gastrointestinal or urological infection.

But when it comes to arthritis, some types of common infections may prevent arthritis from progressing. Researchers are still scratching their head trying to understand how this happens.

In the research published in Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases, researchers used data from a Swedish study including 2,831 individuals suffering rheumatoid arthritis, compared to a group of 3,570 people not suffering arthritis.

All 6,401 individuals reported on their experience of urological, respiratory, and gastrointestinal infections for the last two years.

Now, here comes the weird part:

The people who experienced gastroenteritis had 29% less chance of suffering arthritis. With urinary or genital infections, the chances of arthritis were lowered 21%. Infection around the throat and sinuses, however, didn’t seem to affect arthritis at all.

This is, of course, not to say that you should jump out and catch an infection. The researchers have no idea why this connection exists or if there is even any cause and effect relationship.

But, this shows there is a lot that affects arthritis, and, therefore, there are things you can do to improve (or even cure) your disease.

I went from a disabled arthritis patient to a healthy woman in only a few weeks. All I had to do was make a small diet change and other minor lifestyle changes. I would never have believed how simple this was.

To help everyone succeed in overcoming their arthritis, I put my success into a simple, step-by-step strategy. If you suffer arthritis, please follow my lead here…
